Over the last 12 years, the class of 2025 has worked very hard to reach that final walk across the stage to get their diploma. On Friday, May 23rd, the 99 seniors of the Hallettsville High School class of 2025 took their final steps as high school students prepared for life beyond high school.
Brenna Scott was named valedictorian, along with Macey Putska being named salutatorian. The class of 2025 is full of hard workers, big dreamers, and future headliners.
“I can’t wait to see what this class will bring in the future,” Principal Mason Briscoe said.
Scott, along with being this year’s valedictorian and winner of the Rotary Award with Brett Baker, is also the first Ivy League attendee out of Hallettsville High School.
Over the past 12 years, this graduating class has made many memories and will continue to make more as they venture off to new places. These students have made big accomplishments and have lots to show for it, whether it be academics or in sports, the class of 2025 is very successful.
For many, high school isn’t the end of their education. Many plan to attend colleges or trade schools, thanks in part to the many scholarships or full rides based on their performance during their time at HHS.
Parents are also a big part of the support that the seniors get, and Scott asks that they be recognized for all of their hard work. During graduation, the seniors were asked to give a big thank you to their families for all of the love and support they have received this far.
The class of 2025 is sure to accomplish big things and will be missed by their peers as they continue beyond the walls of HHS.
Congratulations and Best Wishes for a successful future from all of us on the Lariat Staff!!
