Hi! My name is Timiya Shepperd. I am fifteen years old and I’m a sophomore at Hallettsville high school. This is my first year with the Brahma Lariat and I’m super excited to write for the paper. A little about me is that I love the summer time and playing the game with my friends. I throw in track discus and shot put, I do powerlifting, and I was born and raised in Hallettsville, Tx. I grew up living with my grandparents and mom, when I was eight my grandpa sadly passed and my mom and I moved up the road from my grandma. April of this year my grandma also sadly passed, I now live with my mom and three dogs.
