Hallettsville High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes held its first meeting on Sept. 4, 2024, at 12:40 p.m. FCA is a student-led, faith-based organization, focusing on uniting students together and teaching them about Christ.
In the meeting, members discussed how the club will be run throughout the year. Each meeting will start with a fun ice-breaker, then lead into a bible verse reading.
This year’s current FCA officers were also introduced. Those in attendance included seniors Macey Pustka, Preston Wagner and Sydney Kuecker; juniors Nathan Henke, Annalyse Goode, Darbie Phillips and Payton Matthison; and sophomore Gabriel Dodson.
FCA is moving fast with many upcoming events. A women’s bible study will be held this Friday morning, Sept. 6, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. in the Hallettsville High School gym foyer. All girls in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring a bible and a friend! On Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, FCA will host a “See You at the Pole” to gather and pray over our school, families and town.
All Hallettsville High School students are welcome and encouraged to join FCA every other Wednesday at 12:40 p.m. in the Library. Updates and meeting times will be posted on the Hallettsville FCA Instagram page- all are encouraged to follow! You do not need to be an athlete or a Christian to join FCA. If you have any questions please contact Coach Levi Montgomery at [email protected]. The next meeting will be Sept. 18, 2024, bring a friend!
