Dear Santa,
This year at HHS, we’ve been very very busy. Between early morning practices, late-night study sessions, football games under the Friday night lights, and countless other memories, our students and staff have given their all. From cheering on the sidelines to acing finals, we’ve worked hard, and we’re ready for some Christmas magic.
If you don’t mind, we’ve got a few wishes for our Brahma family as the year comes to a close:
For our seniors, we hope for a holiday filled with festive activities to cherish and hold on to as they prepare to enter their final semester at HHS. May they slow down and enjoy these moments and their final high school memories.
For our underclassmen, we hope for some much-needed R&R time and joy (maybe some good gifts too if you’re not too busy), so they can return in January ready to tackle a new semester with energy and focus (and feeling confident with their new swag).
For our teachers and staff, we ask their break be a time of peace, relaxation, and maybe even a second helping of Christmas cookies!
And Santa, PLEASE don’t forget to sprinkle a little extra magic over HHS during the break. Bring laughter to the halls, warmth to the classrooms, and joy to the atmosphere. We know you’re busy this time of year, but we’re counting on you to deliver a festive-filled school when we return in January so we can cherish those memories a tad bit longer!
To our fellow students, as you unwrap presents, make snow angels (or mud ones, depending on Texas weather), and spend time with family and friends, remember to pause and reflect on the season’s blessings. Whether this year brought you challenges or victories, the new year offers a fresh start and endless possibilities.
From all of us at The Brahma Lariat, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your holiday season be filled with joy, love, and plenty of hot chocolate. We’ll see you in 2025, refreshed and ready for whatever comes next!
With love and holiday cheer,
The Brahma Lariat Staff
