Hello Brahma Family,
Hey Everyone! As this school year comes to an end in a few weeks, I want to remind everyone of the strength we can get from each other, our teachers, family, and God to finish out the year strong. I want to talk this week about some scripture from the book of Exodus. One of my best friend’s favorite scriptures. Thanks, Brayden, for reminding us of this verse on the hard days! Exodus 15:2 tells us, “The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.” This verse reminds me that we don’t have to rely only on ourselves when facing challenges. School, friendships, and growing up can feel overwhelming, but this scripture shows that strength can come from God, not just personal ability.
For us teens, “strength” can mean having courage during stressful situations like tests, peer pressure, or difficult decisions. Instead of giving in to fear or negativity, we can trust that God will help us stay strong mentally and emotionally. The phrase “my song” suggests joy and gratitude, even in hard times. We as students can apply this by choosing a positive attitude and remembering to be thankful, even when things aren’t perfect.
“He has given me victory” doesn’t always mean winning visibly, but overcoming struggles like anxiety, doubt, or failure. Students and teachers can apply this by trusting that setbacks are not the end, but part of growth. Overall, this verse encourages us to lean on faith, stay positive, and believe we can overcome life’s challenges with God’s help!
