Hello Brahma Family,
This week’s discussion, I would like to call it, “Called to Wait with Faith.” This week, I want to talk about Isaiah 40:31: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not be faint.”
Waiting is one of the most difficult parts of any calling. We often want God to move quickly, answer immediately, and reveal everything at once. Yet God’s delays are never empty; they are purposeful. Seasons of waiting strengthen faith, deepen trust, and prepare us for what we are not yet ready to carry. What feels like stillness may actually be quiet growth. God is never inactive. When you wait with faith instead of frustration, your heart remains aligned with His timing rather than your own expectations. Am I waiting with trust and patience, or with anxiety and discouragement, and what would it look like to truly rest in God’s timing?
We can pray and ask God to teach us to wait with a peaceful and trusting heart. And when we feel impatient or uncertain, he can remind us that his timing is perfect. We can also renew our strength, steady our faith, and help us remain confident that He is always working, even in seasons of waiting. So remember to read it, speak it, and pray it. That’s my advice for my fellow students and teachers here at Hallettsville High. Now to patiently wait for Spring Break! Go Brahmas!
