With spring break quickly approaching, there are many ways in which you can spend your whole week of relaxation. Luckily for you, there are many ways for you to spend your time. Freshman Rhea Kirkman has her birthday on spring break, so her plans for spring break is to spend it with loved ones.
“So my birthday is on spring break, so my ideal spring break would be just to spend my birthday with the ones that I love. I’d like to go out to eat for my birthday,” Kirkman said.
While doing things like spending money, going out to eat during spring break can be fun, sometimes having the pressure to go out and do all of the fun things can be pretty costly, but you don’t need to spend a lot of money to have fun; you could just stay home and hang out with your friends. Sophomore Paitten Brown finds that staying home and doing her hobbies is a great way to spend her time.
“I’d do a baking competition, have friends over, do crafts, one of the crafts that I love to do is diamond painting. I find that really fun,” Brown said.
Like Brown, Sophomore Lyla Graham believes that staying home and hanging out with your friends would be an ideal way to spend spring break, which will save you a lot of money.
“Hanging out at home, watching movies, and hanging out with my friends because I love my friends,” Graham said.
Just because you’re on a break doesn’t mean you need to spend money on food or go on trips. You could always do things for yourself at home that could save you money.
“Just because there’s a break from school doesn’t mean that you need to go on vacation, you can just invite friends over and do a movie night, or stay at home by yourself,” Kirkman said.
