Hello Brahma Family,
This week, I want to honor our fearless superheroes that we do not talk about enough, our Mothers! Scripture tells us, “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” — Proverbs 31:28 tells us this. And to be a Proverbs 31 woman is to be a woman of high faith and discipline. Mothers, grandmothers, Aunts, and even sisters, women in general are usually the thread that holds the family together. Let’s not forget in this special week of honoring them, to tell them how much we love and appreciate all the support they endlessly give.
Mother’s Day is a time to appreciate everything mothers do for their families every day. One scripture that connects well to Mother’s Day is Proverbs 31:28, which says, “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” This verse means that a good mother should be appreciated, respected, and thanked for the love and care she gives to her family.
Mothers work hard in many different ways. They help support their children, give advice, encourage them, and stay by their side during difficult times. Sometimes people forget to say thank you for the small things mothers do every day, like cooking meals, helping with schoolwork, or simply listening when someone needs support. This verse reminds us that mothers deserve praise and recognition for their sacrifices.
We can apply this verse to everyday life by showing more gratitude to our moms and other important women in our lives. Simple actions like saying “thank you,” helping around the house, spending quality time together, or writing a thoughtful note can make a big difference. This scripture teaches people to honor and appreciate mothers not only on Mother’s Day, but every day of the year. Happy Mother’s Day to all you special heroes out there!
