Hello Brahma Family,
This week, I want to highlight the scripture from Romans 1:8. “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.” I feel that the core message in Romans 1:8 is gratitude for visible, active faith. Paul is not just talking about what they believe in their heads, but their faithfulness—how their trust in God changes and how their actions and reputation are amongst their friends and family. It highlights that Christianity should be a public, impactful, and encouraging testimony, not just a private hobby.
Your reputation matters just as the Romans were known for their faith; you can be known for your integrity, kindness, and trust in God at school. Faith Over Fear also shows that in a tough environment (similar to first-century Rome), standing firm in your beliefs acts as an encouragement to others. Also, when we are active and not passive, we don’t just claim to be a Christian. Let your actions (in class, on the team, on social media) show it. Let your faith be “reported” by how you live, not just what you say. Be intentional, be authentic and be faithful in all you do. And to all fellow students and teachers, enjoy your spring break! Go Brahmas!
