This year, the Brahmas baseball and softball teams have been putting in hard work, countless hours of practice, and immense dedication to a successful season. Their hard work and dedication are starting to pay off as the season is coming to an end.
The Brahmas baseball team is currently in round two of the playoffs. They have won 25 of their games and are continuing to work hard for their end goal of winning at state. This is a bittersweet season as eight seniors- Konnor Kopecky, Jorion Wilson, Tanner Wagner, Preston Wagner, Andrew George, Austin Henricks, Brock Bludah and Carter Blaha- graduate this May.
The Lady Brahmas lost in round two of the playoffs to Jourdanton High School, with the score of their first game being 9-1 and the second game being 4-0. They poured their hearts into this season and played the game with passion and love. The team is losing 3 beloved seniors, Macey Pustka, Kenedy Wood and Hanna Zachary. They will be missed as they move on to seek higher education all over the state of Texas. Hanna Zachary will be continuing her softball career at St. Edwards University in Austin.

Thursday night, the Brahmas defeated Marion High School 16-1. They will continue to play for the best of three games, travelling to Marion Friday night for the second game at 5:00 p.m. A third game will follow if needed.
