Hey y’all! My name is Nadia Evans, I’m a junior at Hallettsville High School, and this is my first year being a part of the Brahma Lariat. Outside of the Lariat I am also involved in FCCLA, where I’m the Vice President of Social Relations. I compete in FCCLA Event Management and FCSA hospitality. After High School I want to study at Texas State University and pursue a career in social media marketing. My dream is to eventually have a marketing job for Pinterest in San Francisco. In my free time I like to cook and try new recipes I find on TikTok and watch the TV show “New Girl”. I also enjoy spending time with puppy, Ollie, who’s my best friend.

I joined the Lariat because I want to strengthen my writing skills and also to become more involved in our community. I hope to create unique stories and give people a new perspective on writing. With the help of the Lariat staff I hope to learn to write in new ways and expand my imagination.

I’m excited to see what the future holds for the Brahma Lariat and I look forward to playing a part in making it successful.
